THE YOUNG professional arm of the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP), Generation 2000 (G2K), has indicated a willingness to work with the People's National Party (PNP) to steer Jamaica through the difficult waters it is now navigating.
In congratulating the PNP on its electoral victory, G2K said it wished PNP President Portia Simpson Miller and her soon to be installed government much success in its leadership of the country's affairs.
According to G2K, while the JLP did much to address the myriad of economic, social and political challenges facing the country, the voice of the electorate must be respected.
G2K - which was at the forefront of the JLP's unsuccessful campaign for a second consecutive electoral victory - called on all Jamaicans, no matter their political affiliation, to play their part in making the country a better place for all.
