G2K ON JDIP
Generation 2000 (G2K) the young professional affiliate of the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP), today commended Prime Minister the Honourable Andrew Holness for his no-nonsense, level-headed and decisive actions since troubling developments coming from the Jamaica Development Infrastructure Program (JDIP) began to surface over the last few weeks.
G2K said that the temporary movement of JDIP to the Office of the Prime Minister including an immediate and comprehensive review of JDIP and the subsequent resignations of National Works Agency (NWA) Chief Executive Officer Patrick Wong and Minister of Transport and Works the Honourable Mike Henry represents the birth of a no-nonsense era of strict accountability and good governance across the board.
G2K pointed out that Prime Minister Andrew Holness must continue his decisive and no-nonsense approach to governance as he seeks to ensure that Jamaica never slips back to the days of pervasive corruption, mismanagement and unaccountability that were the hallmark of past PNP administrations.
