Gail A. Dunwell was born in St. Andrew, Jamaica and attended Immaculate Conception High School. She holds a B.Bs Degree in Risk Management and Insurance and a MBA in Business Administration from Georgia State University. While at Georgia State University, she received the Madam CJ Walker/Herndon Business Award, served as the position of President of the Caribbean Students Association and as an Executive member of the International Student Affairs.
In Atlanta Gail consults with insurance companies; and since 2008, has served as the President of The Benevolent Missions of Atlanta, an organization that harnesses and leverages the time, talent, and resources of the Jamaica-U.S. community to assist disadvantaged and at-risk children throughout the island of Jamaica and in the metro Atlanta area.
Gail has a deep passion for volunteerism and community service which she extends throughout various organizations in Atlanta and Jamaica. Gail currently sits on several Boards in Atlanta and serves as the head of the G2K’s Atlanta chapter.
