PNP DISRUPTIVE AND POWER HUNGRY
Chairman of the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP), Mike Henry described the Peoples National Party (PNP) as power hungry and highly disruptive as they relentlessly seek to destroy critical and highly successful policy initiatives and programs being carried out by the government.
Mr. Henry pointed to the concerted efforts to discredit the multi-billion dollar mainly Chinese funded Jamaica Development Infrastructure Program (JDIP) and pronouncements aimed at jeopardising current high level negotiations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) as cases in point.
The JLP Chairman stated that both programs are essential and will have a very significant and positive impact on the well being of each and every Jamaican for years to come.
Mr. Henry called on the Opposition PNP to once and for all recoil from its power hungry and highly disruptive pronouncements. While we welcome debate on all issues greater care must be taken and good sense must prevail as we must put Jamaica first at all times.
